Seeka Office, Te Puke

This project illustrates how a clean, pristine and modern approach to the refurbishment of a derelict 1970s building can increase staff satisfaction, morale and productivity.

The interior office planting extends the park-like surrounds into the interior environment, and new skylights draw natural light deep into the structure.

The project was 18 months from conception to completion and the renovation and rebuild including furniture and landscaping cost approximately $4million.

The building is a creative reuse of a sad leaking overgrown building that is now a joy to work in and a place where this Premier Produce Company proudly hosts its growers and international visitors.

This building is now fit for many more years of occupation.

The Brief

“Please save my studio and create an inspiring work place…I have a lot of Macrocarpa off the farm that has been sawn into these boards that would be good to use.”
